If your Gateway GT5220 Media Center Computer has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to wipe your current installation and re-install from your Gateway GT5220 Recovery CDs or Gateway GT5220 Recovery Partition, and then install quality anti virus - anti spyware programs.

If your Gateway GT5220 PC is running slowly, the computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. How to use these CDs;

The Gateway GT5220 Boot Fix Re-Image DVD will automatically recreate a Gateway GT5220 XP Media Center Recovery partition.
Remove the DVD and restart the computer.
The PC will restart and will fully reinstall the correct (Gateway build) of Windows XP Media Center etc from the Gateway GT5220 Recovery partition.
When complete, use the supplied Gateway GT5220 Drivers CD to reinstall any missing drivers.
