If your Gateway MX7525 Media Center Computer has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to wipe your current installation and re-install from your Gateway MX7525 Recovery CDs or Gateway MX7525 Recovery Partition, and then install quality anti virus - anti spyware programs.
Please note; some viruses can exist in the Recovery Partition or can create their own partition.
If your Gateway MX7525 PC is running slowly, the computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Windows XP installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows will wipe the hard drive and should also remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware. It will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.
Reinstalling almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.
If your computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive and restore Windows XP with the original software from your Gateway MX7525 Recovery CD.

This Gateway MX7525 Boot Fix Re-Image DVD simply reinstalls the original image of the Gateway MX7525 Hard Drive Recovery facility (from DVD) and therefore allows you to fully reinstall your Gateway MX7525 to its original factory settings (even if you have fitted a new hard disk drive).
Our Gateway MX7525 Boot Fix Re-Image DVD will even work if you have a virus in the Gateway MX7525 Recovery partition, because it overwrites the partition, thus killing the virus.
How to use these CDs;
Boot from the Gateway MX7525 Boot Fix Re-Image DVD and follow the onscreen instructions to completely erase the Gateway MX7525 Hard Disk Drive.
The Gateway MX7525 Boot Fix Re-Image DVD will automatically recreate a Gateway MX7525 XP Media Center Recovery partition.
Remove the DVD and restart the computer.
The PC will restart and will fully reinstall the correct (Gateway build) of Windows XP Media Center etc from the Gateway MX7525 Recovery partition.
When complete, use the supplied Gateway MX7525 Drivers CD to reinstall any missing drivers.
